Pet Portraits
Pet portraits are part of Legacy Art Portraits. Dogs, cats, horses, and beloved companions are transformed into custom painted digital art with stronger detail, richer color, visible brushwork, and a finished portrait look.
Hover over a before photo for 200% enlargement, or over a finished painting for 250% enlargement. Dogs, cats, and horses are mixed throughout the gallery.
More than a filter
The goal is not to copy every pixel of the original snapshot. The goal is to create a portrait with stronger presence: clearer eyes, richer color, better contrast, and brushwork that gives the pet a more finished, gallery-style look.
Stronger focus
Ordinary backgrounds, flat lighting, clutter, and weak contrast can hold back a pet photo. These painted versions add depth and separation, so the animal stands out with more warmth, shape, and dynamic realism.
✓ richer color and contrast
✓ clearer expression and eye detail
✓ painterly backgrounds that support the subject
✓ visible 3D-style brushwork and texture
Portrait first
Many customers send a full-pet photo. That can work, but our aim is a finished portrait. When a head-and-shoulders crop gives the animal more character and emotional impact, that is usually the stronger choice. Horses and action scenes may remain wider when the full pose matters.
Simple pricing
One animal is $79. Two animals, or a horse portrait that includes a person riding, is $99. Questions about delivery, proofing, framing, and the general process are answered on the home page.
