For professional photographers · 30% off

Painted portraits from your best sessions.

Offer your clients a custom painted portrait created from your own photography. Wedding, engagement, family, children's, newborn, senior and business portrait photographers order direct at 30% off, then sell the finished painting as a premium add-on. Every portrait is delivered unbranded, directly to your business, and we never contact your client.

A premium product without another shoot

Your image is already made. We turn it into a brushed, painterly portrait with depth, texture and realism, so you can add a high-value wall art product to any package without extra shooting, editing or printing time.

Raise your average sale

A painted portrait is a natural upsell after the gallery reveal or in-person sales session. You buy at 30% off and set the price you charge your clients.

Stand out from other studios

Give your portrait studio a signature product clients won't find from every photographer in town: a fine art painted portrait from their favorite image.

Proof first, every time

You review a preliminary proof and can request changes before the final artwork is delivered, so nothing reaches your client until you're happy with it.

Fast turnaround

Usually about 3–5 days after we receive the photo. Rush orders may be available for an additional 50%; ask first so we can confirm timing.

Print your way

You receive a high-quality file suitable for enlargements up to 16" × 20". Print through your own pro lab, or order framed prints and canvas through our Fine Art America gallery page.

Unbranded, delivered to you

Every portrait is delivered unbranded, with no Legacy Art Portraits name, logo or watermark, and sent directly to your business. Present it to your client as part of your own studio's work.

Your client stays your client

We never contact your client. All communication, proofs and delivery go through your business only.

Experienced artists

Every painting is created by our small team of digital artists in the foothills of Northern California, painting portraits since 2010.

One or two people per painting. We do not recommend more than two people in a painted portrait. Larger groups reduce detail, intimacy and overall impact, so choose an image of one person or a couple, and crop group shots before ordering.

Painted portraits for every type of photography

If you photograph people or animals, a painted portrait gives your clients a new way to display the images they love most.

Wedding photographers

Turn a favorite bridal portrait, first look or couple's portrait into a painted wedding portrait. A meaningful anniversary gift, a thank-you for parents, or a centerpiece for the newlyweds' home.

Engagement & anniversary sessions

A painted engagement portrait for the wedding welcome table, or a milestone anniversary portrait that celebrates decades together.

Business portraits & headshots

Executive portraits for the boardroom, founder portraits for the lobby, and retirement or legacy portraits honoring a company's leaders. A distinctive offering for corporate headshot photographers.

Children's & newborn photographers

Painted children's portraits and newborn portraits become nursery art and family heirlooms that grow more precious every year, and they make gifts grandparents treasure.

Family & senior portraits

Give one standout image from a family session or high school senior portrait session the fine art treatment, painted for the living room wall.

Pet & equestrian photographers

Painted dog, cat and horse portraits, including a horse with rider. See our pet portrait gallery for before-and-after examples.

Memorial & legacy portraits

When a client loses someone, the portrait you took may be the one the family treasures most. We paint memorial portraits for services and for generations to come.

Proposals & milestone celebrations

Proposals, vow renewals and milestone birthdays: any portrait session built around one or two people can become a painted keepsake.

Restoring older work

Clients asking about a parent's or grandparent's old photo? Older and faded prints can often be painted too, depending on the source image.

How photographer orders work

The same proof-first process as every Legacy Art Portrait, with your studio name on the order.

  1. Send your image and business name

Use the order form, upload the full-resolution image of one or two people and add your business or studio name. No payment is due yet.

  2. Receive your invoice at 30% off

After we confirm the image is good enough to work from, we email an invoice with your photographer discount applied.

  3. Approve the proof

The proof comes to you, not your client. Review it and request changes if needed.

  4. Deliver to your client

Receive the finished, unbranded file by email at your business, print through your lab or our framing page, and present it to your client as your studio's work.

Photographer questions

Who qualifies for photographer pricing?

Working professional photographers who order directly from us for their clients, including wedding, portrait, family, children's, newborn, senior, headshot, pet and equestrian photographers. Add your business or studio name to the order form and the 30% discount is applied to your invoice.

Can I set my own price for my clients?

Yes. You order and pay at the photographer price, and you decide what to charge your client, whether as an add-on, an upgrade or part of a premium package.

Is the portrait branded or watermarked?

No. Photographer orders are delivered unbranded, with no Legacy Art Portraits name, logo or watermark, directly to your business. You present the portrait to your client as part of your studio's work.

Will you contact my client?

Never. We work only with your business. Proofs, questions and the finished artwork all go to you, and your client relationship stays entirely yours.

What do I receive?

You receive a preliminary proof for approval, then a high-quality painted portrait file by email, suitable for enlargements up to 16" × 20". You can print it through your own lab or order framing and canvas through our Fine Art America gallery page.

How long does it take?

Usually about 3–5 days after we receive the photo and order details, and longer before major holidays. Rush orders may be available for an additional 50% charge; please ask first so timing can be confirmed.

Which of my images work best?

A well-lit image of one or two people, or one or two animals, with a clear face and eyes. Send the full-resolution file. We do not recommend more than two people in a painting, because larger groups reduce detail and impact; crop group shots to one person or a couple before ordering.
